Blog 4: Comp Sci II Lab Work

I'm working on a Minor in Computer Science in order to supplement my creative abilities and to learn valuable skills for both professional and personal pursuits. Right now, I'm most of the way through Comp Sci II, and just recently passed the milestone of completing the what's been regarded as the hardest lab assignment of the semester. In this assignment, the objective was to create a simulation of a container being filled with a fluid, with all the variables of container dimensions and flow rate being set by the user's input. The implementation of the program involved using Object Oriented Programming to create a more complex whole out of many smaller, modular pieces of code, much like a team of professionals might divide up work on a project. As simple as it looks, I took great satisfaction in getting it functional.
